Cerror - "Rainbow Parade"

Cerror has whipped up a wonderfully Radix-styled chiptune album entitled "Rainbow Parade", avaliable for name-your-own-price download-and-listen here since November 2009: http://cerror.bandcamp.com/album/rainbow-parade

Since there's no minimum price limit, you can even type in zero and get the thirteen-track chip goodness for absolutely free (gasp, did I just reveal that?!).

"Rainbow Parade" is chock full of thirteen gloriously happy and whimsical module-tracker style chips--it is as if Radix himself decided to suddenly come out with a new chiptune album.

The video above contains track thirteen, "Cheeky girls fast food", in its entirety. Enjoy.

"Beakortolaris" - Cerror

"Beakortolaris" is, in my opinion, Cerror's best chiptune. It's happy, light, whimsical, and has a very strange written comment section within the source file that states thus: "1) a bird 2) made up 3) weird 4) but intriguing 5) cerror@gmail.com". And wow, what a title.

It's an XM file, playable with ModPlug Tracker, etc. Ten samples, twelve channels. The non-chiptune drums work along lightly with the bassline and lead.

It was used in the freeware computer platformer "Purple".
